Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Can these pedals be placed in my rack loops or do they have to go in front of my amp?
There are no hard and fast rules for signal chain but if your amp has a send and return loop consider this signal flow: GUITAR>>WAH/FILTER>>DISTORTION>> TO AMP IN LOOP SEND TO>>MOD>>DELAY>>REVERB>> RETURN Experimentation is all part of the fun. "I have used the Black Gate Editions both Before and After the amp in. I am currently using the Virus as an always on EQ'd Overdrive, using my guitar volume to drive the pre-gain (of the pan*DAMN*ic Black Gate) and the front end of my tube amp and I have the Dual Mode in a loop before the modulation/delay/reverb but I had used the pan*DAMN*ic Plague here in the past. At the moment I am loving the Dual Mode sound in the loop." Q: What type of an adapter do I need? Do they come with a wallwort?
The pan*DAMN*ic pedals do not come with a wallwort. They are tested with an adapter prior to shipping and ship with a 9v battery. Q: Are these the TRUE BYPASS kind of pedals?
Q: What is the deal with Black Gate Capacitors, Silver Wire, and Alpha Pot?
Long answer: Here is a Google search to get you started in depth: Q: I clicked to buy a pedal and it says it won't ship for 2 weeks. What's Up?
