Starting with a small Internet accessible BBS (Bulletin Board System) with a 56k DDS connection to the Internet which was blazing fast compared to the 2400 baud modems used to access our server at the time... Well... 12 years later and it is direct fiber connections to the Internet and clustered web site hosting... Who knew...
